In 1997, Tim Matthews learned about concrete overlay systems and was fascinated by the process and products. After researching the products and industry possibilities, he founded Concrete Texturing in 1998. He first learned how to apply the spray texture method from a company in Florida, and it was their opinion that this method was the best and only way to do it. However, Tim’s inquisitive nature drove him to explore and create improved methods for applying the product.
Tim quickly built a reputation for high-quality installations and a look that was far superior to what anyone else was offering. Natural-looking faux flagstone became the signature product for Concrete Texturing, largely due to the tools and methods that Tim developed. Customers loved Tim because he was honest, on-time, and did what he said he would do — traits that were all too uncommon among contractors. Referrals from customers became a big part of Concrete Texturing’s growth.
Concrete Texturing’s primary business is providing concrete overlays, stains, sealants, and epoxies over existing concrete surfaces. Since its inception, Concrete Texturing has been recognized as a company that offers a superior product and outstanding customer service to homeowners.
