Matthew Evans’ Story
Matthew came to Concrete Texturing in 2012 with a wealth of experience in the concrete coatings industry. He started as an installer on waterproofing systems and decorative concrete overlays and quickly moved up through the ranks.
In 2003, Matthew became Director of a decorative concrete company in Southern California, where he oversaw the production and installation of all projects and was hands-on in many of the high profile projects. Concrete counter-tops were just becoming popular, and Matthew was instrumental in expanding and creating a Concrete Counter-top Division.
In 2005, he was given the opportunity to move to Las Vegas and become a manufacturer’s representative. He worked with Las Vegas, Reno, Phoenix, and Tucson Distributors of the products to train and educate contractors in the proper installation and uses of the product line.
By 2006, Matthew was promoted to General Manager for Decorative Concrete. Concentrating on commercial projects, he earned the trust of many high-level decision makers. Working in many retail, commercial, industrial, and casino spaces, Matthew enjoyed engaging with a variety of decision makers and general contractors.
Matthew began estimating for Concrete Texturing on commercial projects in 2012. With Matthew’s extensive experience in large commercial jobs, Concrete Texturing was awarded several government jobs starting with the re-coating of the F35 Fighter Jet Hangers at Nellis AFB, and leading to many other hanger floors. Epoxy and Polyurethane Coating Systems on large commercial surfaces are now a specialty for Concrete Texturing.
Matthew continues to handle commercial sales, but also manages our crews to ensure that proper procedures and systems are followed and that our customers remain happy.
