The Challenge
The existing rock feature and water slide were in poor condition with major cracks and loose or missing pieces. The stamped concrete on the back patio and pool deck had also faded over time. The challenge was to repair the structural issues with the rock feature and slide, and to restore the visual appeal of the concrete surfaces.
The Solution
Day 1-2: Rock Feature and Slide Repair
- Repaired major cracks in the rock feature and addressed loose or missing pieces.
- Recolored the rock feature and slide with a Tumbleweed color to enhance their appearance and blend with the surrounding environment.
Day 3-4: Patio and Pool Deck Refresh
- Recolored the faded stamped concrete on the back patio and pool deck using a Bone White base with Walnut highlights.
- Applied a high-quality stain and sealant to protect and enhance the new finish.
Day 5: Final Touches
- Conducted a thorough inspection to ensure that all repairs were completed to satisfaction and that the staining and sealing were evenly applied.
- Made any necessary touch-ups to ensure a consistent and polished look.
Result
Ruben was delighted with the outcome of the project. The repairs and recoloring of the rock feature and water slide revitalized these key outdoor elements.
