Not all pool decks are created equal. The spray texture used today can get really hot with the Vegas Summer temperatures. It can be hard to enjoy your backyard if your pool deck heats up like a frying pan. Anything but the lightest colors used to make for a really hot surface to deal with. Fortunately there is relief in the form of IR reflective coatings. The IR or Infra-Red rays normally heat up your deck and make it so hot. IR reflective coatings cause some of those rays to bounce off of the deck and keep it up to 15 degrees cooler than regular textured pool decks. IR color can be added to new or existing texture.
